Qld; Boy pulled to safety by Shoaib Akhtar thanks rescuer
A boy pulled to safety on Monday night from the path of an oncoming taxi by controversial
Pakistan fast bowler SHOAIB AKHTAR has come forward to thank his rescuer.
The boy was one of dozens of young autograph hunters who besieged Pakistan's bus after
the one day thriller against India. Pakistan won the match by one run.
The Courier-Mail says nine-year-old TYE INGEBRIGSTEN, from Deception Bay, north of
Brisbane, was too shaken to say anything after the incident outside the Gabba.
